Metrology and Instrumentation Laboratory
This laboratory provides practical knowledge of precision measurement and inspection techniques used in mechanical engineering. Students learn to measure linear and angular dimensions, gear parameters, and thread parameters using instruments such as Vernier calliper, micrometer, dial gauge, sine bar, bevel protractor, gear tooth Vernier calliper, and slip gauges. The laboratory also covers the concepts of limits, fits, tolerances, and calibration of measuring instruments. It helps students develop skills required for quality control and inspection in manufacturing industries.
CAM/AMS Laboratory
This laboratory provides practical knowledge of Computer Aided Manufacturing using CNC machines and 3D printing. Students learn part programming, tool path generation, and modern manufacturing techniques. The laboratory helps students understand automated production and rapid prototyping used in industries.

Fluid Mechanics and Hydraulic Machineries Laboratory

Students perform experiments related to pressure measurement, flow measurement, losses in pipes, and performance testing of hydraulic machines such as pumps and turbines. The laboratory helps students understand fluid flow concepts and the operation of hydraulic equipment used in industries. It also develops skills required for analysis, operation, and maintenance of fluid and hydraulic systems.

Thermal Engineering Laboratory

Engine test rig and cut section models, VCRS, and AC test rig. The laboratory helps students understand energy conversion systems and achieve the prescribed Course Outcomes.
