INTERNAL COMPLAINT COMMITTEE
In pursuance of the directions issued by the Supreme Court (Vishaka Guidelines), the ACT and UGC (Prevention, Prohibition and redressal of Sexual harassment of women employees and students in the higher education institutions) Regulation 2015, Shri K. J. Polytechnic, Bharuch has constituted the INTERNAL COMPLAINT COMMITTEE to create and maintain an environment which is free from all forms of gender violence, sexual harassment and discrimination based on sex/gender. It aims to provide and maintain a dignified, congenial working environment for women employees (teaching and non-teaching) and students, where they can work, study and explore their potential to the fullest. They can approach the Internal Complaint Committee in case of any grievance.
Objectives of Internal Complaint Committee
● To promote general well-being of female students, teaching and non-teaching women staff members of Shri K. J. Polytechnic, Bharuch.
● To develop a permanent mechanism for the prevention and redressal of sexual harassment cases and other acts of gender-based violence.
● To create a secure physical and social environment to discourage any act of sexual harassment of female students, teaching and non-teaching women staff members of Shri K. J. Polytechnic, Bharuch.
● To make women aware of their social and legal rights and thus empower them to stand against any discrimination. Lodging the complaint
● The Complainant is required to submit a written complaint to any member of ICC committee.
● The Complainant is required to provide supporting documents / CD/ Video/ CCTV footage etc., if available, along with written request letter to the ICC to avoid injustice.
